Connecting pre-analytics, the LIS & lab automation

We do not replace what already works in your laboratory. We connect to it: to the LIS, the analysers, the automation line and the tube system. Over open standards, proven in real projects.

Lab Ecosystem
Where you stand: the why

How much handwork your chain still ties up today.

69 % of German hospitals sit at the lowest level of digital maturity (EMRAM 0), measured across almost every hospital in the country. Missing interoperability is one of the biggest weaknesses: the LIS, the HIS, analysers, middleware and pre-analytics are all there, but they rarely speak the same language. That is exactly where digitisation projects fail.

Proven combinations

Four ways into your existing infrastructure.

From a middleware link to a printer language: this is how LabSentinels modules connect to systems already standing in your laboratory, with projects where exactly that runs today.

LIS · middleware · analysers

Three manufacturers. One data flow.

Your existing system
Labene
your LIS stays the system of record
LIS interface
LabSentinels partner
STIWA LabFlow
process control
ASTM
Your existing system
Remisol
middleware by Beckman Coulter

At ENML, STIWA LabFlow steers the sample flow and exchanges data over ASTM directly with Remisol, Beckman Coulter's middleware, while the Labene LIS remains the system of record. Three manufacturers that were never built for each other work as one chain. Because every link runs over open standards, the same combination can be carried over to other LIS and middleware pairings.

Tube system · lab automation

From the carrier straight into the automation.

AUS (automatic unloading)
Your existing system
Your lab automation
the line's bulk input or an ATRAS sorter

The AUS opens and unloads arriving carriers automatically, straight into the bulk input of your automation line or into the ATRAS sorter. AirLab connects single tubes with no carrier at all. From sender to automation, nobody touches the sample.

Sorting · automation line

Two ways into your line.

ATRAS

ATRAS RS2 or ATRAS InTrac

Your TLA line
allocation per manufacturer: system landscape below

The ATRAS RS2 fills your TLA's original racks straight from sorting, with no transferring by hand. Alternatively, ATRAS InTrac connects the sorter physically to the line: continuous flow instead of a batch handover. Both work independently of the manufacturer, and the handover is configured per platform.

Label printing · LIS & middleware

Every system talks to these printers.

Your LIS · order entry · middleware

GoDEX printers
GTL100 · DT2x · EZ-2+

GoDEX printers understand the standard printer languages ZPL, EPL and EZPL, the same commands your LIS, your order entry or your TLA middleware already sends to label printers today. Switching needs no special driver: existing print jobs carry on unchanged.

System partners

Do you have this in place? Then we already know each other.

Our modules already work alongside many of these systems in live projects. One point of contact coordinates every partner, from selection through to delivery.

Your system is not listed?

The lists are not exhaustive. What matters is the standards behind them. Whether and how your particular landscape connects is something we check together with your IT in the discovery workshop, before any decisions are made.
